"We visited on a Thursday, and Google told us it was closed but we went anyway and it was OPEN! Yeah, it's a small admission fee if your brave/fit enough to climb the small wooden stairs to the top of this huge windmill, well worth it for the views alone and the experience, it has a beautiful little village feel to it with shops and cafes, the cutest little danish dining cart I've ever seen, old school sweetie and ice cream shop, a potters, a travel agents, a florist I could go on, a lovely day out, and we were only there for an hour, for a quick stop and coffee"

"Enjoyable day here.
Lots to see & do.
Found the museum(s) very interesting and the mini train ride exciting.
Lovely cuppa in the Railway carriage.
Will return when the cp & sails are replaced on the windmill."

"Beautiful time out with the family , came across this place by accident but was worth the visit. Both adults and children enjoyed the museum and the mill .. payment needed to enter the mill but cheap enough and you can go quite high up. Museum is donations only and well worth a look around . They have onsite free parking , a play area , mini train with cheap prices , shops and sweetshop with icecream 🍦, easy for pushchairs and people with mobility although the old mill is not mobility friendly due to age and stairs .. loads of pictures but limited sharinging so not to spoil the experience for others"
