Reviews Summary

Reviews for vintage shops near Ladbroke Grove are polarized. Many praise the unique, curated collections and knowledgeable staff, calling it a 'treasure trove' for archival designer fashion. However, a significant number of visitors report negative experiences with disinterested or rude staff, leading to a feeling of being unwelcome, especially given the high prices.

"How fast a year goes by, only last year was one of my unbelievable horrible shopping experiences I’ve ever had to deal with. Where I bought an overpriced Gucci bag (which had multiple stains) for 1300. Originally 1500 but the owner, Mrs Kimberly, must’ve felt guilty and gave it to me at a “special” price. Which I admit, I did fall for. Not only it being that. I had terrible disrespect and so did my mother which she has never apologized for. I see the reviews that she gets, and she answers back horribly. As you can see in other reviews. Besides that point, I have managed to sell this bag off due to it being reminded of an awful experience not only being mislead but the after math of it all. I never enjoyed it, how can you when it upsets you when it was supposed to be a Christmas present from my mother. I sold it, not even for a quarter of what I had paid because it’s all it’s worth on today’s market. I’m very thankful I sold it so I don’t need to look at it and be reminded. But I’m grateful it happened in some way, because it taught me to not be mislead ever again when buying, specially from a place that is quite well known."

Alexandria

"An absolute treasure trove. I had the pleasure of stumbling in a year ago when I needed a belt urgently for an event. The owner was so kind and showed me all of their options, and got genuinely excited by my outfit, giving advice that was not sales pushy at all. She actually said she didn’t want me to buy something if I wasn’t absolutely in love with it. Which I really appreciated and is so rare these days. I’ve been back ever since and every time I step in I’m met by friendly faces and the most sublime pieces."

Caitlin Croke

"The ONLY place I will go for vintage archival designer in London. The collections here are like no other, truly unique pieces. A beautifully curated store and the expertise of the owners is incredible! Lovers Lane is a must if you’re ever in London… j’adore!"
