"We met here to start our elephant Stomp around Leicester. Really large green space with lots of trees and impressive architecture there's a huge arc de triumph style war monument and a walk with flower beds down to huge impressive gates. There was a park run assembling and people playing tennis. Really wonderful park."

"I have made multiple visits to Victoria Park in Leicester. It’s my go to place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city centre. (And in my case to take a step back away from Nuneaton) If you’re a fitness enthusiast and you like to go for walks or go for a jog, this place is for you.
One of the things I like about this park is that you can walk in all directions and take in the good green scenery. From the green grass to the multiple footpaths that are lined with trees. It is a good thing that London Road is nearby, so you can eat from its many restaurants or you can go to the shops and get things. Another good thing is that the Upper New Walk is close by, so if you want to head into the city centre from Victoria Park. You can use this path without having to walk on London Road."
