What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Vernon Park is a beloved, historic green space offering beautiful Victorian landscaping and a peaceful atmosphere. Visitors appreciate the lush grounds, wooded areas, and the charm of its historical design. However, challenges with parking, accessibility of toilets, and poorly marked bays detract from the overall experience for some.
"It's a huge park, you can find cyclists, runners, dog lovers, families having a good time. Lot of old hreen trees and trails make up for a good weekend outing. Small waterfall of sorts too for those interested to go off track. Didn't have enough time to explore it all in one visit, plan to go there again sometime soon."

"Lovely park, coffee shop and paths to walk on"

"Lovely park, always plenty to do or see. However the car park is a right PITA and needs the bays remarking as the lines are hard to see and people hog two spots making it impossible for others to park. Also, as someone who uses a blue badge the disabled bays need remarking up and enforcing as there’s usually multiple people who park in the disabled bays without a valid badge.
Also the coffee shop could do with accessible toilets on the ground level (not just in the basement) as when my pain is bad, those stairs are a killer!
Speaking of which - there also needs to be more toilets available that aren’t located in the coffee shop as when I’ve attended after the coffee shop has shut, and needed to go - there is a lack of options available, unless the bowls people are playing and let me use their facilities."
