They had 5 in total which never left the ground considering the weather was perfect for it. A bit disappointing.

"Went for balloons and tunes , and monster trucks . During the day they blew a different balloon up each hour by end of the day only 2 actually went up- hardly a balloon festival.
Monster trucks advertised a show at 3 and 6 - the 3 o'clock show never happened- no explanation why and the 6pm lasted 5 minutes .
Advertised no picnics but people were picnicking everywhere - your either allowed or your not - it's not fair on the people who abide by the rules .
Loads of food and drink vans - extremely expensive.
2 minute monster trucks ride - which you had to pre book which sold out very quickly .
12 pm entry which turned into 12.45 for some reason , all in all a very badly run event which we shall never be going to again.
We also paid for parking and no one ever checked if we paid or not"

"We chose a very busy race day to attend as included Midland grand national. Arrived early as we used train service and this train in particular was packed and arrived 1 hour 50min before the first race. There was limited seats at this point and this was same throughout the day.
We watched the racing from the railway stand and managed to get a spot in there each time. This was less packed and allowed good viewing of the course. There are plenty of food options and they have plenty of beer and cider self serve vending machines which helped reduce amount of people at the indoor bar. Good service overall and great racing. Would revisit but for a quieter meeting."
