Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Trans Pennine Trail Eastern Terminus for its beautiful coastal scenery and accessible, well-maintained paths, making it ideal for walking and cycling. The nearby Hornsea beach and amenities add to its appeal for a relaxed day out, though some note public toilet facilities could be improved.

"This is a fascinating route, whether you're on a mission and to travel the entire length or you just want to traverse a section of it like I did. Either way, you will experience some amazing sites, whatever you decide to do. I only went along what could be seen as a fraction, a meer 2 miles, but that was lovely. It's relatively flat with sections tarmac and some gravel but manageable of with a pushchair, pram, cycle, or wheelchair. For those who don't know, it's what used to be an old railway line running from Southampton to Hornsea. The Hornsea station building is still there, though it's private houses now, but it's better than being knocked down. There is a large token pole on Hornsea Sea Front marking the start. If the test is as nice as what I have seen, it would be an amazing trail to follow."

"Stunning trail, beautiful views and scenery, I might the do it one day! Seriously, just done tiny sections.

Quote accessible this end, other bits I've done are a bit rougher ground.

Toilets in Hornsea throughout the town, great beach, independent shops, cafes and restaurants."
