What is the best park in London? #ad It's obviously Battersea Park! It's got a peace pagoda, hidden WW2 shelters and some lovely tunnels. There's also a brand new Sendero who provided free Coffee in return for the shout out, I love their cafes! Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Peace Pagoda as an impressive and serene landmark, offering a tranquil escape with beautiful riverside views and cultural insights. While many appreciate its peaceful ambiance and architectural beauty, a few have encountered unfriendly staff near the adjacent temple, which detracts from the site's message of peace.

"An impressive and serene landmark at the heart of Battersea Park, the Peace Pagoda stands gracefully by the riverside. Its unique architecture and peaceful surroundings make it a striking contrast to the bustling city beyond. From this spot, you can enjoy sweeping views of the River Thames while taking in the calm atmosphere the pagoda inspires. Informative displays around the site provide a thoughtful glimpse into the life and teachings of Buddha, making this not just a beautiful place to visit, but also one of quiet reflection and cultural significance."

"I was just passing by the Nipponzan Myohoji Buddhist Temple next to the Peace Pagoda in Battersea Park with my dog, when I encountered a man who appeared to be affiliated with the site. Unfortunately, he was extremely unfriendly and dismissive towards both me and my dog. His attitude was deeply disappointing and completely out of place in a setting that stands for peace, compassion, and equality. If he is connected to the temple, then his behavior is a disgrace to the teachings of the Buddha. This kind of conduct dishonors the values the site is meant to represent. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻"

Charles Chang
