Visitors rave about the Tetbury Goods Shed Arts Centre, praising its unique blend of art, history, and community spirit. The refurbished railway station setting, charming cafe, and diverse events create a delightful experience. While generally positive, some note that the cafe can get busy during peak times.
"Just a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Tetbury lies this hidden gem — the Goods Yard. Beautifully refurbished, including a charming old railway carriage and a signalling box with some local history pertaining to the railway for visitors to understand the fascinating history of the railway, the site is a delight to visit and offers some free parking.
We stopped by for lunch and had the vegetarian lasagna with a side salad and it was delicious. As it was raining, we stayed inside the Goods Yard itself, which turned out to be a peaceful, spotless, and welcoming venue.
The team members we met were friendly and warm, and the coffee I had was lovely — hot, rich, and full of flavour. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this wonderful spot to anyone visiting Tetbury. Warm wishes all, Lyndon S."

"A very nice cafe recalling days of the railway that used to be here. We walked along the path that once used to be the track and then enjoyed coffee and scone in an old railway carriage!"

"Amazed to finally find this lovely community venue and art centre. Enjoyed a fantastic textile exhibition by local crafts people, very talented and not extortionate prices. Cafe has amazing range of cakes. Bit disappointed coffee was half size of cups of tea. Ideal for walks into town or venture into beautiful Cotswold countryside.
So popular now with locals be prepared to queue at cafe in summer. Lots of history and fab local cinema. Impressed how well maintained this is."
