"As a family, we always used to walk round this beautiful lake with the cathedral appearing in the background. We loved it and I still love it now. Such a peaceful walk. Can be busy but because Lichfield is such a nice area, it attracts good people so you know it will be a great day out any time of the year. You can fish on the lake with the necessary fishing license and day ticket which you can purchase from the ranger hut on site. There are grass parts and benches around the lake so you can sit, eat and drink. A shopping centre and some public toilets are located 5minutes walk away and a larger park around 10minutes walk where you can take the whole family and enjoy a picnic."
