Reviews Summary

Stour Valley Nature Reserve is widely praised as a peaceful and beautiful spot for nature lovers, offering lovely riverside walks and abundant wildlife. Visitors appreciate its dog-friendly nature and suitability for cycling and picnics. However, some areas suffer from plastic pollution, and the river water quality could be improved.

"Stour Valley Nature Reserve is a lovely spot for nature lovers. It’s full of greenery, with a beautiful river and plenty of space for a quiet, relaxing evening walk. You’ll also see a few people cycling or fishing, which adds to the calm atmosphere.

However, some areas are unfortunately polluted with plastic bottles, and the river water isn’t as clean as it could be. Still, it’s a peaceful place to unwind and enjoy the outdoors."

"Visited on a February Monday morning. Arrived early and walked the entire length of the river frontage. Lots of wildlife and some lovely views and pleased to note the local dog walkers actually pick up! Well done. Had some great sightings of so many special Birds including Cettis Warbler, Kingfisher, Goosander and Bullfinch to name just a few. Overall a lovely hidden gem and a relaxing place to walk."
