Chris shared stories and history, on the sites, the countryside, the towns, the architecture, the roofs, the aristocrats and their eclectic hobbies, the food and the famous folk who had passed that way or stayed in the region.
Chris's knowledge was boundless as he lead us through Stonehenge, Salisbury, the Cathedral, the Magna Carta, and even to a pub where famous World War II plans took place. At his suggestion we attended a beautiful service of music at Evensong in the Cathedral and later dined on delicious Indian food in a well known and popular restaurant.
