"Fantastic nature reserve, we spent over 4 hours wondering around enjoying nature at its best, listening to numerous bird song and using one of the mobile phone apps to identify many birds. Download one of the apps at home, get yourselves familiar with the operation of the app before you go to Stodmarsh you will be well impressed and rewarded. Allegedly there are beavers around the area but we did not see any. We did hear the low frequency of the Bitterne though. Enjoy your day here you will not be disappointed."
