What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise King George V Playing Fields for their beautiful green spaces, connecting different town areas and offering a great atmosphere, especially during spring and summer. The playgrounds are a hit with children, and the fields are noted for being well-maintained and not overly swampy after rain. Some mention it's wonderfully quiet in winter for introverts. Occasional minor issues like grass cuttings are noted but not a significant deterrent.
"Best park connecting both to old town and new town, lovely green trees surrounding the park, great atmosphere, love the swings, perfect during spring, summer and early autumn and not many people during winter so if you are introverted it's wonderful but I do recommend wearing a coat or hoodie during late autumn and winter, it's especially beautiful during a sunset this park is great
Thank you for reading this review 👍"

"Grass was being cut on day of visit, so there were cuttings everywhere, getting kicked up as you walked or ran, not really an issue. The little swing park was open and tidy, grandson had plenty of fun, happy to visit again."
