"I went to the Sunday 11am family service and was welcomed by one of the leaders who came and sat with me. I was impressed by the number of young families who all seemed to be enjoying it. And they have taken 60 young people away for the weekend aged 11-14 which tells me it is a thriving community.
The service was well explained and simple language used throughout. Everything said was translated on screen for Ukrainians to read.
There were a lot of songs - only one old hymn, the others were more modern. With a lovely pianist playing with a couple of singers.
The speaker, Matt, used lots of props, costumes and questions to keep all ages engaged with his message which was great - about God being compassionate and forgiving and Jonah being angry about that!
Afterwards, I was surprised to be invited for refreshments downstairs - they dug a basement the size of the building beneath it 25 years ago. There is a big kitchen and lots of smaller rooms - a fantastic facility which is apparently heavily used all week.
Lovely experience will come again when I am back on another weekend."

"We were only there for a wedding but it's a great venue - they've made fantastic use of the basement rooms and modernised around the traditional architecture really well. (Comfy seats instead of pews, AV all rigged up for full-on bands and live streams, kids work & youth group rooms downstairs etc.)
Not sure how much of the service was their usual people or visitors/extras with it being the wedding, but that integration in itself is a good sign. The hosting vicar was very friendly & welcoming, and the preach was brilliant; biblical, relevant and engaging."
