The church's unique features, like the Hawker Memorial Window and replica figurehead, are highlighted as points of interest. "It's a 15 minute drive from Kilkhampton to this secluded church on the coast but very much worth it. Ample parking right by the church and it's also only ten minutes walk to the coast and Hawker's hut. The South Aisle of the church has the Hawker Memorial Window, which includes some interesting local details and even Hawker and his dog. As you walk down the sloping path to the church you'll pass a replica figurehead from the Caledonia (foundered September 1842), the original is inside the church. The guidebook by EWF Tomlin 1982 is one of the best you'll find in Cornwall."
