"St. Catherine's Church dates from 12thC and was built on the site of the earlier chapel of Montacute Priory. The church was enlarged in the 13thC and extensively remodelled over later centuries. The church has an organ loft, supported by six stone corbels modelled as musicians, and the north transept holds tomb effigies of the Phileps family of Montacute House. Lovely church."

"We recently photographed/attended a baptism here of a little girl. Rev Nick Clarke was lovely to deal with throughout and gave a great service. Providing toys for children to play with and not fussing when one made a noise.
My wife and I are not religious in the slightest but would definitely consider attending after this. We appreciated the free blessing afterward as well!
The church itself is beautifully presented with well maintained grounds outside. The pews were heated which was greatly appreciated."
