"If you are on holiday or if you have never been to church before and you want to turn and learn about our wonderful father the lord our saviour I highly recommended at Johns. The love and welcome you feel when you go to this church is incredible. From the Sunday service and also the prayer and healing evenings, pray and singing coffee and chats. You will not be disappointed,"

"Dropped in here as a tourist. I would happily attend services here again. The sermon was doctrinally sound and engagingly delivered. The focus of the worship was on Christ and a joyful noise was offered with our singing led by an enthusiastic band. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a Protestant worship service. At coffee after the service I was given a warm welcome by Alison who told me about their street team on weekend nights helping the lost by being the hands and feet of Jesus."

"A fine church so many churches have gone in Weymouth, hope this one and anymore wont go, the way things are going could see wells & Salisbury cathedrals turn in to flats, I looked at every stone pillar holding the church up & found holes drilled in them for all sorts of unnecessary reasons like to mount coat hangers, mounting televisions, speakers lights, electric points, could see a lot of filler where previous things had had been screwed to the pillars, all that lovely stone & craftsmanship ruined. I asked about this defacement of the pillars & was told they asked Salisbury cathedral permission to drill holes in the pillars & they said yes, is Salisbury cathedrals pillars also filled with holes as well than, surely these pillers must all have to be replaced. shame to have vehicles parked in the grounds of st johns church, should all be flowers. Do a lovely coffee morning & lunch Wednesday, hope the council don't get it's way & demolish the church for another 500 flats, I used to go to st Johns school across the road & that was demolish in the late seventys for flats long B4 the craz for building flats"
