"I went to Mass here for the first time today (a Wednesday) and although the priest was not the regular one, he was very generous in giving me some time after Mass to discuss a personal issue. A friendly Asian man assisted me as I didn't want to just barge into the Sacristy!
The church is beautiful and I felt that the community, whilst keeping to themselves, were prayerful - there was such stillness and reverence , allowing one to pray within the peaceful atmosphere. I am grateful for this. Mass was beautifully said and there were about 40 people.
I was sad that there was no chalice, alas, maybe Sunday will be different.
I am grateful that we have the benefit of Belmont Abbey to support the Catholic community. This is a great blessing as we can frequently receive Jesus!

"Used to be a nice church. Father Michael Evans is superb, but sadly he is rarely there now. The reason I give 1 star is due to the worshippers, they are like the Mafia! They have their roles and hate anyone else getting involved. Poor Michael seems to be surrounded by a group of over protective older women. Many of the younger worshippers wish to be more involved, but sadly a single Asian family has taken over all duties and will not allow others to be involved. This also includes other younger Asian worshippers who are also blocked from helping out. This one family dominates everything. It's been suggested that the father is a financial backer of the church. Just because the father helps finance the church, he should not get to say how the church operates. Feels like a "pay to play". Only other criticism I have is in regards to the same opening speech where the father refers to us all as sinners. Personally I do not view myself as a sinner, nor my wife."
