"Really big hill fort, steep climb through woodland tunnel to the fort. Keep to the main path and follow the left hand trail, as the right goes round the lower ramparts. Great views. Nice little carpark just off the road, right outside the cattle farm. Drive slow as its easy to miss and tricky to turn around as the road is narrow there."

"I visited back in June 2024 as part of a spiritual road trip. There is a car park provided with a short steep walk through woods (which can be really muddy) to reach the top . I found it ignited my imagination of stories of King Arthur, because at first glance there doesn't seem to be much there when you look closer it all starts to become clear and you can see the floor plan of where once was a castle . It has Beautiful 360 views all round and is a peaceful location, although be mindful of the cows as they can be inquisitive! I loved it there and a year later I still think about it.
*For any geocachers, there is a few hidden a long the way which is always a big bonus when visiting somewhere"
