More snowdrops? Oh yes! Yesterday we went to Snowdrop Valley (Wheddon Cross) in search of more of them! Let’s just say my legs hurt today 😂. On the way down through the muddy woods, I was asking people coming back up whether it was worth the climb. When we were on our way back, people going down were asking us the same! See what you think 😉 I’ll pop a little blog about it on somersetcool.com ...

Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Snowdrop Valley for its breathtaking natural beauty, describing the sea of snowdrops as a magical and worthwhile sight. However, many highlight the challenging, muddy, and steep terrain, emphasizing the absolute necessity of appropriate footwear. The popularity of the valley can lead to crowds, and parking can be an issue if not arriving early.

"Don't get me wrong it's a beautiful place but ..
take your wellies or good boots because it's in a valley so most (not all) of the paths going down are turned into a muddy woodland path, there's not much can be done as it's so popular and people come near and far to see the sight.
It'll take around 20 mins to walk around out an hour or two if you've got multiple cameras, if you get early there's a free car park by the pub or just go down the road and pay ..."

Simon “sid” Hibbert

"Walk 2 offers a more gradual and this year dry descent into the valley, but walking boots are a must have and be prepared for some steep sections. The valley is worth the walk and is truly beautiful to see."

Kerry Chapman

"Fantastic, a real treat.
Bring a good set of boots. The path can be a bit slippery."
