"The journey to this castle is absolutely beautiful and the coastline is stunning. During this trip to this area, I have visited a few of these types of tower houses. There is an information panel, which details this was built in the late 1400s but destroyed by a storm in the late 1800s. If you are in the area, worth stopping by to have a look but also combine with other similar sites in the area. Free to visit and parking available."

"Good place to go and have a walk around. My Grandad took me here all the time as a kid. We both loved looking around the castle and then walking up to sketrick island."
