Another fantastic day at RSPB Leighton Moss Nature Reserve today. Some great sightings but highlight was seeing this stunning Otter family fishing and playing for over half an hour, amazing! #omsystem #leightonmoss #rspbleightonmoss #otters #ottersofinstagram #ottersinthewild #ukotters

This little video was made at Leighton Moss, which is a RSPB nature reserve near where my mum lives in Cumbria. Watching and listening to these reeds move in the wind was one of my favorite things of my entire summer. A reminder that it’s not always about going half way across the world or spending a load of money. I felt grounded, humbled and free all at once in their presence. #nature #leighton...

"Well organised bird reserve with easy walking/wheelchair pathways to various hides and feeders. Large cafe with 2 and more seating/tables, serving hot and cold food and drinks. There's a stair lift to the cafe upstairs. We had a friendly welcome from Phil, signing up new members on arrival. There's also a shop selling gifts, clothing and accessories at reception. We particularly enjoyed going up to the viewing tower with panoramic views including of the reserve, lake, and Morecambe Bay itself. Parking is free across the road and toilets are at reception. We passed an ice cream stand and another with binoculars for sale once inside. There are benches and signs across the site. Paths open all hours and are suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. Check website for details and prices."
