"I have been a regular visitor to Sheffield and Tinsley Canal for many many years, either fishing, biking or a nice walk. It is a totally different place from the canal of 30+ years ago when Sheffield was recovering from the demise of the steel industry.
It is a hidden gem many simply drive past to Meadowhall.
Really good walk ways/tow paths. Well stocked popular angling. Beautiful canal basins with narrow boats, house boats. Lots of nature, wildlife, birds.
