"This is a great park for dog walkers and is well equipped for kids with climbing frames and a zip wire etc, there are bowling greens too and public toilets. It is a lovely park, not too big.. outdoor events are sometimes held here such as mini music festival days in the summer etc. Burnley, for a moderately sized town, has an abundance of lush parks, and this isn't quite Towneley or Thompson's park but it's definitely one of the best smaller parks and very pretty with a stream and a quaint little bridge, wooded pathways and a statue of Mr Scott! There are also public toilets which are actually clean and nearly always have loo paper in!"
