What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Wick Golf Club Reiss Links is lauded as a fantastic classical links course offering a genuine taste of Scottish golf history at a reasonable price. Visitors consistently praise the friendly and helpful staff and members, the well-maintained greens, and the challenging yet beautiful layout, especially the dramatic back nine. Some note that the course can be exposed to brutal wind conditions and that sea views are somewhat obstructed by dunes.
"Upon contacting the facility early in the morning, the captain accommodated our request for a tee time despite the absence of a prior reservation. The staff demonstrated exceptional helpfulness and friendliness, offering recommendations for alternative courses within the vicinity. The course itself presented a visually appealing layout, featuring well-maintained fairways and excellent greens. I wholeheartedly endorse this course and anticipate returning for another round should I revisit the area."

"A fantastic classical links course, 9 out, 9 back, on the same stunning stretch of coastline as some crazy priced courses. Wick offers the same glimpse of golfing history at a sensible price and the locals/members couldn’t be kinder. Thanks to early bird John for letting me set off into the unknown first. 👍"

"What an incredible golf course. An absolute joy.
I’ve been fortunate enough to play some amazing golf courses and this is right up there with the best.
A true links course. Brutal conditions when we played in terms of wind. Front 9 into the breeze with the wind at our backs on the back 9.
Some really incredible holes - I especially liked the way some of the tee boxes are elevated and built into the sand dunes on the back 9 - holes 16, 17 and 18 were stand out. Some really nice par 3s too.
So happy, not cheap, but an incredible experience and the staff were wonderful."
