"The Countryside Centre was closed when we visited in February 2025 and there was no information that we could see about when it is open.
However, this is a nice location to park for free and to enjoy the garden, the ruins of Quoile Castle and also to make use of the picnic benches.
There are a few interesting information boards in the grounds.
It is also a good location to park and to then gain access to the Quoile Pondage Nature Reserve. The nature reserve is worthwhile visiting if you enjoy seeing birds. The path is also accessible to all mobility levels.
I wouldn't recommend travelling a great distance to visit here but it is worth stopping-by if you are in the area.
NB - It is good to know that there is a defibrillator attached to the building here."
