"A nice big field on the edge of Hitchin. Beautiful views to the west of the hills between Hitchin and Luton. Wonderful sunsets. Note that this is not a 'park' in the conventional sense, despite the name - it's a farmer's field, and for much of the year it's covered in crops. There are a couple of big footpaths running across it (which join up with Brick Kiln Lane, behind), though, so you can still enjoy the views at any time of year."
