What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find Priorwood Garden a lovely, colorful walled garden, especially appreciating the heritage apple orchard and vibrant dahlias. While some note fewer flowers outside peak seasons, the artistic sculptures and the chance to buy apples are highlights. It's a charming spot for a peaceful visit, with entry by donation.
"Not really worth visiting. Few flowers. Lots of ancient apple trees, which is good. So many varieties are lost. I search in vain for a Beauty of Bath. In the spring the apple blossom may make visiting worthwhile and there may even be some flowers to see. There were some lovely dahlias. The only things worth the time spent, in October when we went, are the sculpture of doves and an artistic creation...what it's technical term is I don't know.. of birds. And the chance to buy some apples at an honesty box near the entrance."
