"Philips Park is a hidden gem in Prestwich! 🌳 It’s the perfect mix of peaceful woodland walks, open green spaces, and well-kept paths. Whether you’re out for a jog, walking the dog, or just looking for a quiet escape, the park has something for everyone.
The scenery is beautiful all year round – from the fresh greenery in spring to the autumn colours 🍂. There are plenty of benches to relax on, and the trails make it easy to explore different parts of the park. It feels safe, clean, and family-friendly too.
A brilliant spot to unwind and connect with nature without having to leave the city!"

"Never been before. It was recommended for MTB tracks. Unusual access via the tall bridge over the M60. Has a lot of potential but very run down. We travelled 45 minutes to get here, so we're glad that we tried it but it's not what we expected. Nice view of the city though ☺️"

"Great place for country walking with numerous routes. However, be careful if walking dogs off lead, especially at weekends, as there are two seemingly uncontrolled problems:
1. Off road motorbikes driving on footpaths. Illegal and very dangerous. On my last 10 walks in Phillips park I have seen this twice. As well as dangerous these bike damage footpaths.
2. Cyclists speeding on no bike signed footpaths instead of sticking to clearly marked bike routes in the park. This is dangerous on the narrower bendy footpaths with poor visibility ahead. I suspect cyclists on proper routes also complain about people on their paths as signage is not the best.
Fix this two issues and maintain park paths a bit better and this would be a 5 star resource."
