"A delightful place to visit. Unfortunately at this time of year (mid September) the castle is only open on the weekend (Sat & Sun), so we didn't get to go inside, but we loved the setting and enjoyed walking around the area. Visiting the castle is free as is the car park which is a very short (maybe .1 miles or 2 minutes) walk."

"What a beautiful picturesque castle. If you’re up for a quick dog walk and stroll along the beach, take a walk at this location. It offers amazing views and a real Scottish charm for those who visit.
On our visit it was a bit windy, but still amazing. Location doesn’t have a washroom so be prepared prior too. Car park is down the road from this stop, park and prepare for the weather conditions on the walk."

"Brilliant visit, the staff were so helpful and welcoming, and were preparing for a wedding later in the day.
This castle is a hidden gem, and is free to enter, a donation is welcomed.

The dog was made very welcome too and helped himself to a drink from the dog bowl at the entrance."
