Reviews Summary

While the theatre's charm is a major draw, some guests find the seating legroom to be a bit tight. The staff are consistently noted as friendly and welcoming, contributing to a positive overall experience.
"A little small theatre with beautiful interior!
Narrow seat and leg room if you are normal size, I got short legs and my knees almost hit the wall in front of the seats.
There are 3 bathrooms for female at the entrance before you take stairs up to dress circle or stairs down to orchestra level. Another couple bathrooms up on dress circle level on the left and the right in the back.
The show the Stranger Things was fantastic and look amazing on the stage and definitely a must if you like the TV show!"

"I went to watch Stranger Things: The First Shadow, which was fantastic. The seats were okay, though there was very little legroom. During the interval, there was quite a long queue for the toilets as there were too few for such a large theatre."

"The theatre is historic and unique. Lots of places to grab a drink and they offer an order to your seat option which is good. We sat in the stalls and the seats were comfortable and had good leg room (I’m 6” 3’ and was comfortable throughout the whole show)."

Navigating the Phoenix Theatre's Interior and Seating
When it comes to seating, the theatre offers several sections: the Stalls, Dress Circle, and Upper Circle. While the theatre's charm is undeniable, some patrons, particularly those of taller stature, have noted that legroom can be limited in certain areas, especially in the Stalls and Upper Circle. It's worth checking seat plans and reviews for specific rows if legroom is a concern. The theatre also offers 'restricted view' seats, which can be a more budget-friendly option and, according to some, still provide a decent view of the stage.
For a more comfortable experience, consider seats in the Dress Circle for a good balance of view and legroom.
