Whether you’re visiting for a casual stroll, a romantic afternoon tea, or a special event like a wedding, this Georgian mansion delivers a truly memorable experience.

The views from the terrace are simply unbeatable—stretching across the Thames Valley and on a clear day, even as far as Windsor Castle. The well-maintained gardens are peaceful and perfect for a quiet wander, with blooming flowers in the spring and vibrant colours in the autumn.

The Tea Rooms offer a great selection of hot and cold food, cakes, and drinks at reasonable prices. It’s self-service, but the staff are friendly, and there’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Afternoon tea here, especially with that view, feels like a real treat.

For history lovers, Pembroke Lodge also has some fascinating connections—once the home of British Prime Minister Lord John Russell and the childhood home of philosopher Bertrand Russell.
