Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Peace Museum for its important message, engaging interactive activities like badge making and origami, and its free entry. The care in curatorship and the warm staff are frequently highlighted. However, some find certain audio exhibits to be unpleasantly intense or noisy. Reddit+1

"The noise of chanting women from the old recordings did my head in. Journalist Argument and flute playing were other audio features. I had to leave as I couldn’t stand it after a few mins. There were however a couple of nice features and a badge making station and crane origami station. The noise from the main screen installation was (to me) like fingernails down a blackboard. Ironically, un peaceful."

Matt Watson-Power

"A charming museum located in Salt's Mill devoted to the ideal of peace. Staff were warm and engaging and the care taken in the curatorship is self-evident.

Particularly good for children, lots of activities including making your own badge (50p each) and your own banner for peace. An inexpensive but enjoyable trip out."
