"Yeah that's a nice place near the torrent, left path, you can walk on the rocks and with a minimum effort, play with the water. Right path, you can see the soldier's leap. I just don't understand what is supposed to be so nice about this place.
BTW, the "tourist building" is just completely closed four days a week (at least it was closed in late july, when the tourists are supposed to be there). Just don't go here, go to Glen Affric or Glencoe.
Last but not least, the google map GPS locates the place at the top of the mountain, and will try to make you exit the motorway, right into a muddy mountain trail... ok maybe you can do it with a 4x4."

"Don’t follow this one on google maps. We were hiking from Pitlochry and it took us to a dead end! We walked 10 miles!
For some reason there are 2 google maps locations for the Pass of Killiecrankie and this one is not correct."
