What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Park Hall Country Park is cherished as a vital green space offering diverse walks, abundant wildlife, and unique geological features. While many praise its natural beauty and well-maintained paths, some visitors caution about potential anti-social behavior near free car parks and inconsistent facility availability.
"I am leaving a 5 star review because this is a lovely nature park in Stoke, absolutely need the green space and it is teeming with bird and insect life, rabbits, and so on. It is an essential part of the city's ecosystem and you can have so many lovely walks here, no two walks are the same! There are some interesting geological formations and 100% worth the visit if you are in the area.
I will say, though as a warning, that there are issues with anti-social behaviour near the free car parks, including people with balaclavas on dirt bikes, and drug use. I have reported some behaviour to the police before. As such, I would not recommend going here alone particularly as a woman, unless it is a busy weekend day. This is nothing against the location itself, it is wonderful here, it's entirely due to some of the people who come here so I have not reflected this in the star rating - it's more an FYI for visitors."
