"Nice place for a walk around a peaceful lake. You can extend your walks - or cycle - on different cycle paths north and south. There is a nice little cafe on site with lots of homemade cakes and hot meals. They do a good breakfast roll.
There is also a really impressive waterfall nearby that is a quick and easy walk to get to. Small kids play park, but an ideal location to mix it up with cycling or scooters. Also some other bits of play equipment around the lake."
