"Friendly staff and nice little place. It’s a very small museum about the size of 2 small rooms, good history, and won’t take long to visit. Very close to the car park and worth a visit."

"Great little Museum full of interesting facts, I learnt lots, like the Curse of the Doombar and the difference between a Cock and a Hen Pasty!
FREE and run by volunteers, but feel free to offer a donation."

Mike Bennett

"Information outside said that the museum would be open 10 to 4 on Good Friday so we went to the Lobster Hatchery and then came back at one o'clock to find it was closing. No external information about early closing had been displayed to my recollection. I appreciate the it is run by volunteers but that doesn't mean it can be amateurish."
