What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The O2 Centre Finchley Road is a convenient local hub with a good Vue cinema and essential supermarkets. Visitors appreciate the free ping pong and public piano, adding a lively atmosphere. However, some reviews mention limited dining options and occasional service issues at the cinema.
"A great place to get active In the gym, to have a coffee, or to just sit down and catch your breath while enjoying some tunes played by passing musicians on the public piano. There are also washrooms upstairs.
Just a stone's throw away from Finchley Road station, it is worth a visit if you are passing by."

"We had a blast at the 02 centre today. It’s a great place to shop and eat. It is only a stones throw away from the Finchley Road underground station. There aren’t too many stores here but there is a The Little Gym and Vue Cinema here. They don’t have a wealth of options for eating out either, only Nando’s and a coffee shop. They have two ping pong tables on the ground floor now. It livens up the atmosphere here and is a lovely addition. We had a wonderful time playing here. It’s completely free and you can spend as long or as little as you want. You need to ask the security guard for the equipment before you start playing. It’s a brilliant centre!"

"Small but pleasant shopping centre very near Finchley Road tube station. The skylight roof always reminds me of Ken Adam's volcano set from the Bond movie You Only Live Twice.
There's a decent Vue cinema with 12 screens on the first floor and on other floors both Aldi and Sainsbury supermarkets which are both open till 11pm weekday evenings. Very handy for after cinema shopping!
Unfortunately the centre was devastated by Covid and never fully recovered, losing many restaurants. The Homebase at the back of the Centre has also disappeared.
However, plans are underway to rejuvenate the Centre and the surrounding area, though I'm not quite sure how long this will take."
