Reviews Summary
Norton Village Green and Duck Pond is widely praised as a wonderfully relaxing and pretty spot, perfect for a peaceful break. Visitors love watching the ducks and appreciate the charming village setting and nearby historic church. Some minor drawbacks include occasional bench scarcity and the fountain not always being operational.
"Always been a relaxing area to visit. Plenty of benches to sit on and watch and/or feed the ducks (seed is available from the corner shop over the road I think). It's right next to the church which is beautiful to walk around as well."
Jonathan Jarrett
"Love the new seats around the duck pond. I could have watched the ducks all day. Such a pretty place to sit and watch the fountain and the people going by."
Susan Parr
"Norton village green and duck pond is a pleasant place to take a little break, take a child to feed the ducks, catch up with a friend for a chat or just to look at as you pass by in the car. The only downside is that there aren't enough benches to sit on next to the pond and there is duck poo near the edge so you need to sit further away on the grass. The fountain was repaired a few years ago but hasn't been switched on for a very long time which is a shame."
