Visitors praise the engaging farm animals, play areas, and the immersive Jorvik Viking Village, though some note that certain areas could benefit from refurbishment. It's a place where kids can have a blast and families can make repeat visits.

"Great for big and little kids. Unfortunately the Jorvik bit was closed to us because they had a school party in there. We were pre warned before we purchased our tickets.
There is plenty to look at and remember to go upstairs in the main barn. You can feed some of the animals and there are little games to play on your way round.
There is a play area and a wonderful cafe with quality food. £18 per adult but your tickets last a year, so you can go has many times has you like 👍"

"Great little place to take the kids, however I did feel the place looked somewhat tired. We went mainly to see the Viking zone as part of the Jorvik Archeology week and some of the buildings their had pieces missing from the roof and walls, so it’s in great need of having some work done on it. The tram gave a fabulous performance to teach young ones about Viking life, and it was extremely insightful for all ages."

"We love going to Murton. Lovely park for the kids including ride on tractors and bikes - there's a inside play area for when it's raining. Nice to see the animals and the kids are able to feed them. There is a viking village there which is always lovely to explore. My son loves the goats and the train that takes you on a mini adventure.

When you buy a ticket - you have have it to last all year. We often go just to use the park and burn off some energy."
