"The best, most welcoming staff. Chap behind the bar good bloke took drinks order set up tab guided us to seats.
Fish & chips far better than our home town fish & chip shop. The recommended scrumpy cider refreshed me for our 10 mile walk.

"Great hotel ! We had room 1 with an excellent view! Staff were lovely, free parking, super dog friendly, big room - with a bath in the en-suite which was a lovely surprise not just a shower! We had dinner and breakfast in The Stables next door which was superb and really great - and a good price too. Excellent place to access the Monsal Trail. We stayed just 1 night - couldn't fault it, would recommend 10/10."
