Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Knightwood Oak for its impressive age and the serene beauty of the surrounding woodland, making it a relaxing spot for a walk and picnic. While some note minor cosmetic issues, the overall experience is described as wonderful and a must-visit for nature lovers.

"Nice place to explore and read about the history, one of the smaller parking places in the area. But I managed to find space. There are a couple of picnic benches near the oak if you want to sit and eat. As with all the new forest, very clean and well kept"

Jay

"500 years old and girth of 7+ meters. It’s okay I guess but there are far grander oaks to be found in the UK with others ~1000 years so this more like middle-aged. Still it’s worth stopping by for a look and the oak is still growing so might last another 500 years with some TLC. The paths and car parking were undergoing an upgrade with new surfacing so it’s probably gonna be much more accessible."
