"Ballycopeland Windmill is situated about one mile west of Millisle in County Down, Northern Ireland. It stands as a rare historical treasure and is the only remaining fully functioning windmill in the region still housing its original internal machinery.
Kids might not enjoy the place. Have a small coffee tuk tuk there. And Glen who sell coffee is an amazing guy. Open from 10-4. Try to reach there before 3 would be great. Toilets and seats are available and we'll maintained.

It can be described as a historical landmark rather than a tourist place."

"Excellent tour. For such a small site there was such a lot of interesting history. Tour guide Paul was very knowledgeable and a friendly chap.
Highly recommend it. Great value @ just £6 per person. Plus a great cafe with a good variety of food and drinks."

"A unique working windmill fully restored . I was only able to view the ground floor as there wasn't a guided tour on the day I visited, but there is still lots to see including the Millers, the kiln and kiln workers house. I recommend going on a bright sunny day to get the best pictures of the windmill sitting in the wheat fields."
