"This is such a great park; a real asset for the local community!
Set alongside the busy and noisy Abbeydale Road it seems to go on forever; so many facilities in one place and once you are in the park it’s wonderfully peaceful.
When I visited just a couple of days ago it was very popular: joggers, cyclists, young families, dog walkers all using the paths plus fields, courts and even a boating lake.
There’s ample parking plus toilet facilities and a great cafe."

"This park is perfect for everyone. Here you have a playground for children, a place where you can buy breakfast, ice cream, drinks, toilets, tennis courts, basketball courts, football, bowling and table tennis. Tables with benches where you can have a picnic, a lake with boats, the Sheaf River, a small flower garden. It is the most diverse park. It is a great place."
Marinela Ciopron

Families will especially appreciate the well-maintained children’s play area, which keeps little ones entertained for hours. The cafeteria with pond view with boat rides adds a charming touch.
