Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Mill Green Museum and Mill for its charming atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and the fascinating working watermill. The delicious cream teas made with the mill's own flour are a standout highlight, making it a highly recommended destination for all ages.

"What a lovely little Water Mill. The staff were lovely and the tour by the Miller was really interesting; it included harnessing the power of the river to drive the flour Mill Stones, receiving & processing of the grain into flour and packaging. I was surprised to hear how this Mill, and others like it, stepped up during the 2020 Covid outbreak to ensure flour was still available to the Bakeries. The Mill building itself shows evidence of changes through modifications made during its production years and before finally ceasing commercial operations.
We also had a cream tea with their own made scones, hmmm lovely."

"It's my second time to the Watermill museum and I loved it. The new kids activity zone and a nice reading area has been added, all bakery themed. We met lovely people who work there and take care of the Mill, always happy to share lots of interesting facts about the mill and the process of flour making."

Anna Voloshchuk

"A small working mill with some very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We chatted with the Miller for a bit and he showed us round. Then we had a cuppa and cake"
