What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Skrinkle Haven's stunning, almost Jurassic beauty and its status as a hidden gem on the Pembrokeshire coast. The mix of sand and pebbles, coupled with the dramatic Church Door Cove, makes for a unique experience. However, the absolute necessity of checking tide times for safe access is a recurring theme, with some paths being steep or closed.
"Stunning place almost jurassic in its appearance, one of the most beautiful parts of the cost line for me along the pembrokeshire coastal path, from the sea it's stunning and amass with wildlife. The main beach is only accessible during low water and then you only have a few hours before it starts to rise and you need to get to the otherside for the step access, you woulnt want to be cut off on the wrong side. The one beach with steps is quite rocky where the other side is lovely sand. From the beach you can see what's known as "Church Door" cove.. again stunning natural rock formation."

"Amazing little beach ⛱️ with Church doors cove just next to it only one way to go down and up coz they have closed another path which goes down (bit dangerous) so hope they fix that path coz it's one of the hidden gem."

When the tide is low, you can easily cross the wall between the pebble and sand areas, offering a different experience on each side. There are also some lovely National Trust walk routes nearby, ideal for a scenic hike. Ample parking is available, which is always a plus.
