(You can cross Gillan Creek on stepping stones a couple of hours either side of low tide). In such a picturesque setting near the mouth of the Helford River this is a well photographed church. The pulpit has a carved figure of St Anthony with his symbols of a T Cross, a bell and a pig (there are a number of explanations for the pig). No electric light at St Anthony, but 18 brass sconces and chandeliers."
