No longer wait for boating with reasonable charge. Play park for upto 7 year. Golf area, bowling,tennis also avaliable. Could enjoyed a full weekend with family and friends. Loved it ❤️"

The spitfire memorial at the side is worth a stop for anyone interested in local wartime history. Lots of swans on the lake too, and geese by the side. Seen signets here as well and the wildlife is fairly tame granted you don’t harass them and give them space.
You can hire a boat out on the lake too which was good fun and offered a different perspective.
As I said before the lake can be accessed from the beach but there is also street parking right along it.
Would definitely recommend visiting here if you are nearby, maybe on a day exploring the town and beach."
