Visitors praise Mill Field Nature Reserve for its lovely, relaxing walks and its proximity to local areas, making it a convenient nature escape. It's a great spot for dog walkers and offers opportunities to see wildlife like rabbits and deer. However, some find the paths can be narrow and overgrown, posing challenges for buggies, and dog waste left on paths is a recurring issue for some.
"What a great nature reserve to go for long walks at and it’s right on my doorstep, so lucky to live so close to the millfield nature reserve."

"A very pleasant walk indeed"

"Good place to walk the dog. I just wish all dog walkers would pick up and stick in bins, rather than leaving it on the paths or picking up and flinging it in a tree. It can get muddy when wet so bring proper boots/shoes, and it does dry out quickly when windy or sunny. Spot the rabbits, deer, and a few different orchids when the season is right. Only reason it does not have 5 stars is the dog poo."
