"Started researching David Lloyd George last year and was fascinated to find how influential he was in defining the course of Britain in the 20th century. Visiting the museum and his childhood home today gave me further insight into this great man and politician. The museum is an absolute gem with plenty of original artifacts. In particular, his personal notes on the treaty of Versailles! Staff are extremely helpful and visiting his grave was a privilege. Well worth a visit into the life of Britain's greatest prime minister!"

"We dropped by the Lloyd George museum with no particular expectations or even prior knowledge. In some respects he's just some guy from a different era who made it into the history books.
So what the museum does very well is to show where he came from (very humble roots) and what he achieved (an awful lot). He clearly wasn't perfect (being a philanderer) but his actions made a difference for a lot of people.
The museum itself isn't huge but is packed with many relevant objects. You can also visit his childhood home with its outdoor privy. The staff are very helpful and will open it up for you. So there's plenty to take in here if you have any interest in politics or Lloyd George."
